Health

Everyone wants to have good health. It is the human equivalent of a car that has just passed its MOT, but many people find it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle that involves a healthy diet and plenty of exercise.

To have a healthy lifestyle you first need to have a balanced diet, which involves eating enough fruit and veg. The advised amount to eat daily is five portions, which can take the form of fruit and veg in many forms (but not potatoes!) including orange juice, apple juice and other juices plus dried fruit and veg, tinned fruit and veg and frozen varieties. As well as this you should eat food with proteins such as meat, fish and eggs and food that contains starch such as bread and rice. As for fat, you do not need to cut it out of your life completely, but you should also make sure that what you eat is a small amount.

Exercise will also improve your overall health, which reduces risks of cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease (by increasing ‘good’ cholesterol and lowering blood pressure). It will also improve your weight and sense of well being as well as giving a helping hand to your immune system.
